威海校区举办大学生创新创业训练项目初期答辩会

BJTU Weihai Held Initial Defense of 2018 Undergraduates’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program
On May 12, twenty-five teams of Weihai Campus students made presentations to explain their innovation and entrepreneurship programs. Professors from Beijing Campus judged their performance and offered insightful advice to perfect the projects. The annual training program, sponsored by Ministry of Education, is to raise students’ awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, helping the young people to learn to think critically and independently, to find out the problems and their solutions. The research area and quality this year have outdone that of last year to a great extent, from campus-related programs to those targeted at frontier of technology.
5月12日，威海校区2018年大学生创新创业训练项目初期答辩会在B203教室举行。参与答辩的项目团队共25个，比去年增加了19个。计算机学院教授王志海、电子信息学院副教授周航、经管学院副教授丁静之、招生与就业工作处严伟恒老师出席本次活动并担任评委。
本年度威海校区的创新创业训练项目，总体质量较去年有了较大提高，覆盖范围更加广阔：既有聚焦校区建设的项目，“‘事主儿’——基于定位信息应用的互联网互助平台APP”和“基于虚拟现实技术的三维校园漫游系统”；也有着眼科技前沿的项目，“抗生素对微藻生长影响的实验研究”和“可视化数据挖掘模型的设计与实现”。
评委们根据各团队的项目展示和答辩汇报，从其实际意义、实现技术和材料编写等方面进行提问，为项目的推进提供诸多意见和建议。同学们表示，专家的点评令他们茅塞顿开，项目发展方向更加明晰。
“大学生创新创业训练计划”是教育部“高等学校本科教学质量与教学改革工程”建设项目中直接针对大学生个体或团体所设立的覆盖面最广、影响最大的项目之一。主要为增强高校学生的创新、创业意识，培养学生独立思考、解决问题的能力。
